hoodia pure
Pure is in the eye of the beholder - or in our case the viewpoint of the company.
There are way too many companies out there promoting hoodia to keep up with all the diverse claims being made. But here's what you have to ask when trying to get your hands on pure hoodia.
Was the supplement made from the whole hoodia plant - i.e., from the plant skin AND from the meat inside it? Either claim would be true if advertised as 100% or pure hoodia. But which is it that you're looking for - especially if you're trying to lose weight?
Purist might argue that you're better off using products made from both the skin and the interior plant since that way you're getting more fiber and fiber has been shown to inhibit appetite by giving one a sense of fullness. On the other hand, the native bushmen in South Africa discard the outer layer. Since they've been using it for centuries, I'd be more inclined to imitate them and use hoodia produced without the skin.
Furthermore, at the prices of hoodia today, do you really want to be paying for excess fiber?
